Uruguay Safaris
We are a 39-year-old family-run business, and we take pride in working closely together to provide the best hunting programs in our country. For us, hunters become family, and in turn, we become part of their extended hunting family. This is one of the reasons why they choose to come back year after year. We aim for excellence and are never complacent, always striving to improve ourselves and the overall experience without cutting corners or compromising quality.
The evolution from the start to the present
The journey began with Eduardo Gonzalez's grandfather, a passionate hunter who not only started Eduardo's love for the activity but also laid the foundation for the bloodline of the hunting dogs we still have. Recognizing the potential to transform his passion into a lifelong pursuit, Eduardo decided to embark on this journey. Over the years, the business steadily grew, mirroring the dedication and enthusiasm passed down from his grandfather.
Following in the footsteps of the family's hunting legacy, Eduardo extended his love for the sport to his own children, introducing them to hunting at a young age. From the age of 5, his children were accompanying him on hunting expeditions. This continuity of passion and tradition established a deep connection to hunting within the family, truly making it a pursuit that runs in their blood.
Years of hands-on experience and scouting have provided us with the tools to secure the best hunting areas, complemented by insights from the countless clients we've had over the years who have shared their experiences with us.
Our Team
We believe that a cohesive team is essential for the success and coordination of all our activities. Our hunting guides, who have been with us for several years, some for more than two decades, contribute significantly to our operations.
Hunting philosophy
In our hunting philosophy, as well as what we encourage in our clients, we embrace:
Conservation: We firmly believe in the proactive role of hunting in wildlife conservation. Sustainable management of wild animal populations is a fundamental principle.
Connection with Nature: We view hunting as more than an activity—it's an opportunity to connect with nature, comprehend wildlife life cycles, and immerse oneself in the beauty of the outdoors.
Safety: We place paramount importance on fundamental safety practices. This not only prevents accidents but also nurtures a secure environment for hunters.
